Thank You For Your Kindness is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a vision of a world where kindness and service transform lives and communities. Our mission is to be a catalyst for compassionate change, touching the hearts of those in need and making a lasting impact on their lives.
Our flagship program, Project 1×1, provides comprehensive, sustained, and holistic support to individuals experiencing homelessness as they work to transition from the streets to stability. Through street outreach and mentorship, we meet people where they are and walk alongside them on their journey toward independence, dignity, and long-term stability.

Our street outreach program provides meals, hygiene kits, and basic essentials to our unhoused neighbors on the streets of Nashville, TN. We welcome you to join our family by volunteering!

Empowering Individuals Through Compassionate Support
Our program model isn’t just based on what we think people need – it is based on the lived experience of homelessness by our founder and president. After making it off the streets, he had a realization – there are many services available out there, but what people really need is support. They need a friend.
They don’t just need someone who is going to schedule an appointment for them – they need someone who is going to actually care if they make it to the appointment, and do everything they can to see that it happens. This understanding is the basis of what we do.
