Thank You For Your Kindness (TY4YK) is a nonprofit organization organized under the laws of the State of Tennessee. We have submitted an application to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for recognition of tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and are currently awaiting a determination.

While we are legally permitted to solicit and receive donations during this pending period, please note that donations made at this time are not currently tax-deductible. If our application is approved, and if the IRS grants retroactive recognition of our tax-exempt status to the date of incorporation, such donations may become tax-deductible. However, until such approval is granted, donors should be aware that contributions made to TY4YK are not guaranteed to be deductible for federal income tax purposes.

We recommend that donors consult with a qualified tax advisor regarding the deductibility of their contributions.

TY4YK is a grassroots organization that functions solely on an individual volunteer basis.  However, we are actively in the process of forming a Tennessee nonprofit corporation and seeking IRS classification as a 501(c)(3) organization.  Please reach out to info@ty4yk.org or call (615) 471-0888 for additional information.
